Vesavi vennala – summer camp 2016 at Hindupur
By the Divine Grace Of Bhagawan “Vesavi Vennela” summer camp was organized at DJP Centre, Hindupur from 14th May 2016 to 24th May 2016. 17 children from Prakasham dist and 18 children from Hindupur participated in this camp. Daily time table followed by the children is as follows.

6. 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM - Speech on selected topic
7. 12.00 PM to 1.15 PM - Group songs practice
8. 1.15 PM to 2.15 PM - Lunch
9. 2.30 PM to 3.30 PM - Rest
10. 3.30 PM to 4.30 PM - Veda chanting practice
11. 4.30 PM to 6.00 PM - Handicrafts making
12. 6.00 PM to 6.30 PM - Snacks
13. 6.30 PM to 8.00 PM - Painting class
14. 8.00 PM to 9.00 PM - Dinner
15. 9.00 PM to 10.00 PM - Cultural activities/ motivational videos/story telling
16. 10.00 PM - Prayer, going to bed.
The camp was conducted with the cooperation of samithi members and devotees. Demonstrator from Vivekananda Yoga Kendra took Yoga Classes. Local eminent speakers, Balavikas alumni took classes for personality development and in other important subjects. Smt. Bharathi, mother of Balavikas alumnus trained the children by holding handicrafts classes. Smt. Saraswathi Venkatesh taught basics of drawing and painting. Most of the children painted good pictures. The samithi members also trained the children in Veda chanting and group singing. Delicious, hygenic food and snacks were provided to the children.
For local sight seeing children were taken to world famous Lepakshi temple and other important places for 2 days.
Valedictory function was conducted on 22/05/2016 Sunday from 6.00 PM to 9.00 PM. Local VIPs were invited as chief guests. All Samithi members and a large number of devotees participated in the function. As prayer, the children performed Sri Sathya Sai Mahima Stuti, followed by group singing. 3 classical dances, 1 folk dance and yogasana pyramids were performed by the vesavi vellela students.
One of the DJP boys of Prakasham Dist spoke about their memorable experiences at the summer camp. Children exhibited the handicrafts and painting boards painted by them.
Senior devotees of the organization blessed all the children and as a token of love they gifted each of them with vibhuti Box, pen box with material ,compass box, journey pouches with toiletries, exam pads, towel, woolen blanket, journey bag, new dress, shawl, sweet and savory box, water bottle and lunch box.
Programme ended with Aarathi and prasadam distribution.
By Bhagawan’s grace, the summer camp was successful and children returned to their places happily on 24th May 2016.
