Swatchata Se Divyatha Thak inauguration at Anantapur

By the Divine Blessings and Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the SSSS Samithi, Anantapur conducted the inauguration of Swatchata Se Divyatha Thak (SSDT) programme and also did seva under this programme as per the instructions of All India President Sri Nimish Pandya garu. The SSDT programme was inaugurated by Sri P. Subramanya Kumar, Addl Dist. Judge, Anantapur, in the presence of State President, AP & TS states, Sri S G Chalam garu at Dist Head Quarters Hospital premesis, Anantapur.

The programme started at 10.00 a.m. in the waiting hall of the hospital. The meeting was presided by the Anantapur district president Dr. T Ramanjappa garu. S.G. Chalam garu, State President, SSSSO, AP & TS, Dr. A. Jagannath garu, Superintendent, Govt. Gen Hospital, Sri P. Subramanya Kumar, Addl Dist. Judge, Anantapur were the dignitaries on the dias.

Deepa Prajwalana was done by the dignitaries. It was followed by the prayer. In the welcome address the Dr T Ramanjappa expressed his happiness at the inauguration of SSDT by the most distinguished personalities and expressed the hope that Anantapur dt will stand first in the Telugu states in execution of the programme.

Sri S.G. Chalam garu, speaking at the importance of program said the SSDT is the nation level 19 day programme planned by the All India President and into second edition this year with previous programme being highly successful and urged the youth especially, to involve with much more enthusiasm this year also.

Dr. A. Jagannath garu, Superintendent, Govt. Gen Hospital expressed his happiness at being chosen as a venue for this year’s SSDT and said it will go a long way in improving, cleanliness & health of especially the patients visiting this hospital.

Sri P. Subramanya Kumar, Addl Dist. Judge, Anantapur in his inaugural address said he is greatly honoured to inaugurate this unique programme, that too when taken up by the most disciplined volunteers of SSSS Organisation.

In the vote of thanks by the Samithi convener Dr R. Ramachandra Murthy, he thanked the hospital superintendent for providing an opportunity to do seva and also the dignitaries who spoke encouragingly and sevadal who have come to do seva.

The SSDT program started at 10.30 a.m. and closed at 1.30 p.m. During the programme Sri C Rommel, IFS (retd) joined in the seva and enthused all by his encouraging and inspiring words.

No of volunteers participated is as follows.

Adult males: 34

Males (youth): 30

Adult mahilas:28

Mahilas (youth): 18

Total: 110.

Man hours: 110 X 3hrs = 330.

The programme ended with harathi to Swamy and followed by mahaprasadam.
