History of the case: Patient R. Jaya Prasad Naik, (m/37), had Chronic Rheumatic Heart Disease with severe mitral restenosis.   He has gone to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram with the above complaint and got admitted on 6.12.14 and  operated on 9.12.14  Post operative recovery was uneventful and discharged in stable condition on 14.12.14.

Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur examined the patient and informed that there are no cardio related complaints and the general condition of the patient is good.

History of the case: Patient G. Narasamma, was having Chronic Rheumatic Heart Disease, Severe Mitral restenosis, severe aortic stenosis, moderate aortic regurgitation. She  has  gone to   Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram with the above complaints and got admitted on 13.12.14 and was operated for Double Valve Replacement and Tricuspid valve repair on 15.12.14 . Post operative recovery was uneventful and discharged in stable condition on 19.12.14. SRP-RR-01

History of the case: Patient S. Nathanial, had Congenital Acyanotic Heart Disease, Perimembranous Ventricular Septal Defect with Patent Ductus Arteriousus, Double Outlet Right Ventricle. He has gone to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram with the above complaint and was operated on 7.10.14  Post operative recovery was uneventful and discharged in stable condition on 10.10.14.

6) Master Naveen Kumar. K, S/o  K. Krishnappa, H No: 4-2, Moola Thimmi Palli VG,  Bai Reddy Palli (Mandal), Chittoor (Dist.), AP. HOSPITAL ID NO. PN00265902; Date of Surgery: 17.9.2014, Date of Discharge: 21.9.14

Patient  was admitted in Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram   with Ventricural Septal Defect.  Surgery was done on 17.9.14. Operative period was uneventful. Patient was discharged on 21.9.14.SRP Coordinator, Chittoor, has taken the patient to Dr. Surender Babu, M.D.FCA (USA) MVL Hospital, Madanapalli Chittoor District  on 21.10.14 for the first review.  Patient is doing well and have no complaints.

Surgery/Treatment: EPS +RFA (Electro Physiological Study + Radio Frequency Ablation .Surgery date: 10.4.2014. 

History of the case: Smt. Naseem Begum, W/o Mohd. Yousuf had slow pathway, Paroxysmal palpitations. She has gone to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield in July, 2011 with the above complaint.  Coronary Angiogram was done on 18.7.2011 and she was treated with oral medicines. Due to persistent problem with slow pathway, the patient was admitted in the hospital on 9.4.2014.  Electro Physiological Study + Radio Frequency ablation (slow pathway) were done 10.4.2014. Slow pathway modifications was done successfully.  Post procedure course was uneventful and the patient was discharged in stable condition on 11.4.2014.

CHITTOOR DISTRICT:

Patient has been admitted in Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield on 18.6.2014 with Ostium Secundum Atrial Septal Defect (OS ASD). Surgery was done on 19.6.2014. Operative period was uneventful. Patient was discharged on 24.6.2014. 

SRP Coordinator, Chittoor, has taken the patient to Dr. Kavitha, MBBS, PESIMSR, Narayana Hrudayala, Kuppam, Chittoor (Dist.) on 8.7.2014 for the first visit. Patient is doing well and has no complaints.Parents of the patients expressed their utmost happiness for the care taken by SSSSO, Chittoor after surgery done at Whitefield, Bangalore.

3) Sri K Sumanth (M/15)

PN 00272297, Patient Name: Sri K. Sumanth, (M/15),Address: H No. 5-789, Kothapeta, Srikalahasthi, Chittoor (Dist.), AP

Case History: Master Sumanth, (M/15) S/o late Venkataramanachari, staying with his mother Smt. Chenchu Lakshmi. Patient is having heart problem (hole in heart) by birth. His mother took the patient to Madras for treatment where they estimated the cost of surgery for Rs.3.00 lakhs.  Mother is working in Girls High School in Kalahasthi and her earnings are insufficient to meet the cost of surgery. She approached Smt. Vasantha,  teacher in the same school, who in turn has taken the patient and the mother to Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Kalahasthi and requested for help. Sri Pandurangaiah Chetty, Convenor sent Sri Govind,  sevadal member, alongwith  the patient and her mother to Super Speciality Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam on 31.1.2014 and 11.2.14.  

Doctors examined the patient and informed that the patient is suffering from ACHD, BAV severe AS and need surgery. Patient has been advised to admit in the hospital  on 19.3.14.

Accordingly Patient was admitted in Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram on 19.3.14 and PBAV (Percutaneous Balloon Aortic Valvuloplasty) procedure was done under LA on 20.3.14  and Patient was discharged on 21.3.14.

First visit of the patient to the local doctor has been arranged by Sri Pandurangaiah Chetty, Samithi Convenor, Srikalahasthi and Sri Bhathinaiah, SSSVIP Coordinator Chittoor District.

Dr. M. Chandrasekhar, B.Sc, MBBS, D.Ch, Sai Childern Hospital, Kalahasthi examined the patient on 11.6.14 and recorded his findings in the feed back form. Copy of the feed back form has been sent to the Councelling Department, SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram on 12.6.14 as required.  

Patient family members expressed their gratitude to Swamy and happiness for the services rendered by SSSSO, Chittoor District.

2) Baby K DEEPIKA (F/4):

Address: Mundlapudi(V), Tirupati (Mandal), Chittoor (Dist.), AP; Surgery/Treatment: ASD OS Repair.Surgery date: 7.3.2014. 

History of the case: Sri K. Gurava Reddy is a tailor in Mundlapudi village.  His daughter Baby Deepika is having a hole in her heart by birth.  Local Hospitals informed that the cost of surgery is around Rs.3.00 lakhs. Due to financial constrains he could not afford the cost of surgery in private hospital.  He came to know through somebody about the services at Puttaparthi Hospital.  He has taken her daughter in January, 2014 for check up.  After conducting necessary investigations, Doctors  advised for surgery. Patient joined in the Hospital on 6.3.14.  ASD OS repair surgery done on 7.3.14 and patient is discharged from the hospital on 10.3.14.

Sri N. Lokanatham, SRP Coordinator, Chittoor District has taken the patient to Dr K Niranjan Babu, MD (Med), DM (Neuro), Sai Narayana Neuro & Maternity Care, Tirupati, for the first review on 20.5.14. The general condition of the patient is good.

 

1) Smt P VIJAYA (F/39):

PN NO. MG00163409; PATIENT NAME: SMT. P. Vijaya, (F/39); ILLNESS/TREATMENT: T.V. Repair (Tricuspid Valve repair)

DATE OF SURGERY/DISCHARGE: 7.4.14/2.5.14; FIRST VISIT TO LOCAL DOCTOR: 24.6.14.

Patient first visit to Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram is on 19.1.1993. She is a Chronic Rheumatic Heart Disease patient. Double Valve Replacement (Aortic and Mitral Valve) and Tricuspid Valve repair done in October, 2005 at SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram. Patient underwent Ovarian cyst surgery Laproscopic  in Jan 2013.  Hemoperitoneum in June, 2012 in CMC, Vellore. 

Patient is suffering from swelling both feet since last six months.  Left side chest pain radiating to left arm. With the above complaints she came to SSSIHMS and admitted on 24.3.14 for CAG. She was discharged on 26.3.14.

Patient admitted in SSSIHMS on 1.4.14. Tricuspid Valve Repair with # 28 Edwards MC3 Tricuspid Annuloplasty Ring was done on 7.4.14.  Patient  discharged on 2.5.14 after total recovery.

Sri N. Lokanatham, District SRP Coordinator, taken the patient to Dr. Dr K Niranjan Babu, MD(Med), DM(Neuro), Sai Narayana Neuro & Maternity Care, Tirupati for the first visit.  Condition of the patient is good . Xerox copy of the feed back form after first visit has been sent to the Counseling Department, SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram on 24.6.14.
