Service at Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple, Annavaram (14-7-15 to 25-7-15)


Constant work in loving service to others covers the seeds of past sinful and harmful actions, so that they die away and do not grow into a new round of misery - Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.


With the Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sevadal members of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Visakhapatnam rendered selfless service  at Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple, Annavaram, East Godavari from 14th to 25th July,2015 on the occasion of Godavari Maha Pushkaralu held at Rajahmundry, East Godavari District.


After the holy dip in Godavari river at Rajahmundry, pilgrims pay visit to Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple at Annavaram which is an hour away from Rajahmundry. As the pilgrims flock in large number to this holy place. it will be difficult for the temple authorities to control them. Seeing this situation, heads of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Visakhapatnam felt that service should be rendered at this place for smooth flow of activities.


Sevadal, both ladies and gents were stationed at different places in the premises of the temple to carry out service activities. Totally three batches of Sevadal, with each batch carrying out service for four days were allotted to do service in temple premises.


Sevadal arranged Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba quote hoardings beside the pathway to the temple along with helpdesk at the entrance of the temple to guide the pilgrims. They performed service activities in kitchen, canteen, nithya annadhanam, clock rooms, prasadham counter, controlling the pilgrims to move in queue line for Darshan and vrathams. Later in the evening the singers of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation enthralled the devotees with their mellifluent voice by singing Almighty Bhajans.


All through the Pushkaram days Sri VR Nageswara Rao, District President, SSSSO, Visakhapatnam, Sri Raghava Rao, Visakhapatnam District Gents Sevadal Cordinator, B Ammaji, Visakhapatnam District Ladies Sevadal Cordinator supervised all the service activities. Hundreds of Sevadal along with other office bearers and Tribal Youth(ladies and gents) from Paderu and Araku rendered service at Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple with utmost love and fervor. The authorities of Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Temple were happy for the service rendered by the Sevadal of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation.
