INTEGRATED MEDICAL CAMP AT KIMUDU PUTTU TRIBAL VILLAGE (30-04-17)

Service expresses the divinity hidden in man. It broadens one's heart, it destroys narrow-mindedness, and it gives delight. The evil qualities and tendencies in us can be driven away through service – Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

 

Inspired by the ideology of Serving the poor and needy as per the divine ideology of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the dedicated doctors team led by Dr GVS Rao conducted a mega FREE Integrated Medical Camp at Kimudu Puttu Tribal Village of Hukumpet Mandalam, Visakhapatnam with help of Sri Sathya Sai City Seva Samithi and Gayatri & Vishaka Eye Hospitals on 30th April, 2017.

 

Around 232 villagers from nearby tribal villages also were medically examined for ECG, X-RAY, Clinical Laboratory tests, General examination, Gynic, Eye (Ophthalmology) and Dental. Some of the patients who were found to get cataract operated were given required treatment at Visakha Eye Hospital and some other patients were referred to Gayatri Hospital for further treatment.

 

The doctors team comprised of Dr GVS Rao(Cardiology), Dr. P. Sambasiva Rao, Dr. Shanthi Kumar, Dr Satyanarayana, & Visakha Eye ophthalmology technical team, para-medical team and over 20 Sevadal (volunteers) from Sri Sathya Sai Medical services wing of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation have actively conducted this free medical camp.

 

Sri RA Naidu, district coordinator (Mobile Medical Camps) coordinated the integrated medical camp. New clothes were also presented to some needy men and women on the occasion. Villagers thanked Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation for its concern towards the poor and needy.
