Inauguration of Rural Vocational Training Centre at Tadipatri

With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Lakshmi Narayanaswamy Rural Vocatioanal Training Centre was inaugurated at Tadipatri, Anantapur dist on 20th Nov 2014.

Sri Sathya Sai Rural Vocatioanal Training Centres (SSSRVTC) being set up by SSSS Organizations is one of the three national projects taken up on the eve of 90th Birthday celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai and the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of SSSS Organization.

A second such centre in Andhra Prdesh and Telangana states, the Sri Sathya Sai Lakshmi Narayanaswamy Rural Vocatioanal Training Centre was inaugurated at Tadipatri, Anantapur dist on 20th Nov 2014, in a glittering function.

This centre is established by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations and Sri Sathya Sai Trust A.P & Telangana states. The aim of this centre, funded by an anonymous donor, being family welfare, village development and youth empowerment. At the end of three month training period, the organization will supply free tool kit to each person trained. The training being offered is totally free. Training is offered initially in electrical technician and motor pump set repairing streams to six rural youth.

The training centre was inaugurated by Sri R.J. Rathnakar garu, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam at 10.30.AM. The subsequent inaugural meeting started with Veda recitation at 10.50 AM. Dr. T. Ramanjappa, Dist. President, SSSSO Anantapur, gave the project details of RVTC, Tadpatri. Dr. Krishna Kumar, State coordinator, SSSRVTC gave technical details of the course. Sri S.G. Chalam, State President, appreciated the magnificent centre, that is going to give support to the rural youth to lead a purposeful and dignified life. Later Sri D. Lakshminarayana, Managing trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Sadhana Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam spoke about the immediate necessity of this center.

Sri N. Ramani, All India Vice President, SSSSO, reminded the devotees of the need to participate in the running of the RVTC and not merely to witness the inauguration. Sri H.J Dora, Chairman, Sri Sathya Sai Trust, AP & Telangana, asked the trainees to get trained well and serve their parents.

Sri R.J. Ratnakar, recollected how Swamy started vocational training centre in Prasanthi Nilayam more than three decades ago to uplift the rural youth. He said it is indeed a miracle for such a training center to come up in the semi urban area and praised the good fortune of the young boys who were to undergo training here.

The programme ended at 12.30 PM with mangala harati to Swamy. Maha Prasadam was offered to the gathering.

Sri Gangadhar acted as the master of ceremonies, while vote of thanks was proposed by Sri S. Venkara Rami Reddy, Convener, SSSSO, Tadipatri and coordinator, SSSRVTC, Tadipatri.

National, state and district office bearers, conveners of various Samithis, and devotees in all 200 participated in this programme. Twenty five sevadal members looked after the arrangements.
