Help to a Poor Family in Nalgonda

HELP TO A POOR FAMILY  in NALGONDA District                       

Construction of a House (one Room) to a Poor Family One poor lady by name Smt Parvathamma with her three children (Sony-18, Sunil-16 and Swathi-13 years) were living under a tree for the past five years and she lost her husband long time ago and was spotted by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Nalgonda.

As Parvathamma is a patient of epilepsy she cannot go for any work. The family is getting 30 kg of rice with IAP card of state government. The children Sony is studying degree staying in an orphanage near Boduppal of Hyderabad, son Sunil studying 9th class in a govt school and last child Swathi in 8th class.

In spite of poverty the children are bright students with good marks. During holidays Sunil works in hotels and earns for family and the last child Swathi always takes care of the mother and worried about the health of her. Though Andhra Pradesh state govt sanctioned a house under Indiramma housing scheme they could not raise margin money. They appealed to everyone including the government to provide a home for them, but none responded to help the family.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Nalgonda and others prayed Swami for blessings and decided to construct one room with toilet facility, Drinking Water and Electricity connection with the divine blessings and love of Swami and with contributions made by devotees.

On 5th Sep 2012 house was inaugurated by local Mandal Revenue officer Mrs. B. Aruna Reddy. While addressing the gathering she appreciated the selfless services of Sri Sathya Sai Organisation and promised any future assistance from the government as initially the administration gave Rs.4000/- as interim relief to the family.

With tearful eyes Parvathamma's son Mr. Sunil thanked Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Nalgonda for this divine gesture with the blessings of swami and was grateful to all the devotees for treating them as members of their Sai family.
