Reprogramming of Lives
Reprogramming of Lives-A Training cum Personality Development activity has been conducted at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Vanasthalipuram from 18th April to 27th May 2012 for 45 selected candidates

Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation, Hyderabad took on the humble task of equipping unemployed youth in the society with the required skill sets, thereby making them more employable and to bridge the gap between employer and employee to the extent possible. Sri Satya Sai Reprogramming Lives program started way back in 2003 and till date successfully completed 17 batches in training 1500 young graduates. Deloitte, GE and Genpact have supported Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisations in providing Laptops and desktops. A 60‐day course on Basics of Networking, Windows Tech Support and Soft Skills was commenced in Vanasthalipuram on 18th April. A written test followed by personal interview was conducted for 300 applicants and out of which 45 very needy unemployed graduates were short listed.

The course has been designed to concentrate on both Technical Skills and Soft Skills. In addition to them, 30 graduates attended sessions on soft skills on weekends. A regular day starts with morning class from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by scheduled LAB sessions. On weekends session on Soft Skills will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Corporate trainers and leaders from various reputed companies such as Genpact, Deloitte, GE, IBM, HSBC, JP Morgan etc. have taken sessions on various Soft Skills.

In order to give the students an experience of corporate culture, all of them were taken to one of the largest global consulting company (DELOITTE). Another key feature of this course is that, students have gone through a 2‐day residential Retreat program. During these two days, students have experienced and undergone sessions on Human Values, Ethics and Partnering with God. Students also got to participate in Suprabatham and Yoga during these two days.

This batch of Reprogramming lives concluded on 27th May‐2012 with a valedictory ceremony on high note with the participation of chief guests: Sri Nagaraju (IPS Officer, Kerala Cadra), Sri K. Sampath Kumar (Joint Director, Anti corruption Bureau), Smt Palepu Ratnamala Rao (Vice President, Genpact – IT Service), Sri Srinivas Balaji (Senior Manager, Genpact) and Sri A. Durga Prasad (Assistant Project Manager, HSBC Global Technologies). We are very thankful to Elders, Corporate Dignitaries and all the esteemed trainers for helping us in making this program successful.
